Our Mission

The Huddle Connection provides connections for individuals to grow and develop physical, mental, and emotional attributes for life by connecting these Huddle Participants with community-based fitness and sports programs.

Whom We Serve

Our Huddle Participants range in needs. Some are seeking treatment for addiction. Others are in the juvenile court system. Participants may be a target of bullying,  suffer from low self-esteem, depression or anxiety. And some Huddle Participants have autism or other developmental deficiencies.

We Why Exist

Everyone deserves an opportunity to learn and grow through community-based sports and fitness programs. However, there is a disconnect at times for those who struggle with emotional, social, behavioral, and physical challenges. We connect programs to our participants who might otherwise never have the chance to experience the benefit of these programs.

ABOUT US

The Huddle Connection is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that connects youths and adults to sports and fitness programs as a means to meet their emotional, social, behavioral, and physical needs.

We seek out existing programs within a community and connect their services to our Huddle Participants.

Press Release:

"Chagrin Falls CrossFit partners with The Huddle Connection to offer CrossFit classes to disadvantaged or underserved youth."

Chagrin Falls CrossFit Owner, Jennifer Pishko, has taken on the role as Program Director and Education Liaison with The Huddle Connection, a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit Organization.   The Huddle Connection provides connections for young people to grow and develop physical, mental, and emotional attributes for life by connecting Huddle Participants with community-based fitness programs. Our Huddle Participants range in needs. Some are seeking treatment for addiction. Others are in the juvenile court system. Participants may be a target of bullying, suffer from low self-esteem, depression or anxiety. And some Huddle Participants may have autism or other developmental deficiencies.

Everyone deserves an opportunity to learn and grow through community-based fitness programs, and the benefits of CrossFit carry over into day-to-day life. However, there is a disconnect at times for those who struggle with emotional, social, behavioral, and physical challenges.  Our goal is to strengthen the connection and help these youths overcome their obstacles.

Jennifer Pishko founded Chagrin Falls CrossFit in 2015. Prior to that, Jennifer was the Program Director for a national youth sports organization connecting 20,000 youths each year to a wide variety of team-based sports programs.

Jennifer's mission includes bringing the value of fitness and wellness education to all youths, in hopes of instilling a lifelong love of movement and sustainable healthy habits.

Chagrin Falls CrossFit will begin offering specialized classes and programs in January 2022.  Additional classes and locations will be added next spring.
